HONOUR em !!

HONOUR TALENTED STUDENTS!!!!
wow... what an amicable way!! the meritorious students!!!I'm astounded!!

Schools:STUDIES: Intelligence: Toppers!!! Okay, TOPPERS or MERITORIOUS PPL!!! A craving name for everyone? especially for your hard work!!

School reminds me of something else too, the compulsory subject, Environmental Education (E.V.S) which the CBSE board has marked compulsory for students till 4th. And I literally think there's no subject worse than that!

No, no! I am not against our environment..!! But then why read the same old thing??? i.e. To protect the Environment = Plant tress and Acid Rain, CFC, CNG and same old things all over again. It was sometimes a burden..

If teachers are so keen on teaching, they should have been more practical that generates interest than the same old boring text book. Like my school hadsupported a mission of planting trees but that isn't counted into our grades.

Mangalayatan University in Aligarh has found an unusual way to honor their meritorious students, or rather eco-friendly!!This time around, talented kids are not being awarded any kind of medals, trophies or cash. It's different ppl!

The university has decided to award students a tree, yeah! They have set up a "TOPPERS AVENUE" inside the campus itself, where they are planting trees each time, in the name of toppers! Yes, the tree kind belongs to the good student. It stands tall and majestic, as a prize for their hard work and dedication.

Cool? I think it's a fabulous idea. This is what I call abiding to their own teaching! Along with helping the environment and igniting the fire of realization inside the students, the name of the topper will be eternally indelible!

Also, I think the child honored or his friends and family will take care of the tree as their own, just as you take care of all trophies or certificates you have won? Isn't it? And who knows...the child may unknowingly begin to help others around to realize how important a role trees play in the livelihood of mankind!

HELLO!! may i come IN???

People say writing is the best way of communication. Have so many questions running in my mind. Always wanted to know the other person's opinion. LOL! i can assure you it wouldn't be like waiting for love!ROFL:P how dumb i was...call em mokka!!! Wanna talk things which sometimes thwart me! Solve my doubts and queries...!! Would love to share what i know....NOT SURE IF IT WUD BE AUGUST....:-)

THE LAST LECTURE !!!!

WOAH! INSPIRATION!!!

" THE LAST LECTURE"- A book by RANDY PAUSCH.....
Randy Pausch, computer science professor had stepped in front of huge audience at Carnegie Mellon University to deliver a last lecture called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.” With slides of his CT scans, Randy told his audience about the cancer that is devouring his pancreas and that will claim his life in a matter of months. On the stage that day, Randy was youthful, energetic, handsome, often cheerfully, darkly funny. He seemed invincible. But this was a brief moment, as he himself acknowledged.
so how does this affect me or you?or us?? he talks about being an astronaut or making movies or video games for a living!! he doesn't emphasise on the technical engineering side..(being a phd prof:p) sadly! in this present world most people dont acheive theirs, and i indeed think its a shame!! his speech had covered and combined the humor, inspiration and intelligence that has made his lecture a phenomenon and given it an indelible form. his book,is one which will be shared for generations to come...

LET US GO BY OUR INTERESTS AND NOT BY COMPULSION!!
